Paramouni Liturgy: Thursday 9:30 – 11:30 am @ St. Abaschairon Chapel (due to new furnace installation in the old church) Theophany Feast Liturgy: Thursday evening at Cathedral Only: Midnight Praise: 4:30-6:30 pm Laqqan: 6:30-7:30 pm Matins Raising of Incense: 7:30-8:00 pm Theophany Feast Liturgy: 8:00-11:30 pm No liturgies on Friday as Feast liturgy is celebrated from the night before.

+ Family & Graduates Convention next month:

Under the guidance of H.G. Anba Makar and in his presence, the Lighthouse Family Meeting jointly with St. Marcurios & St. Mariana Grad Meeting are organizing a convention during the Family Day weekend (Feb 17-19) in Midland ON. The convention theme is “Building a Temple for the Lord” as inspired by the message of Haggai the Prophet. All are invited. For booking and further detail, please contact the servants of any of the organizing meetings.

+ ARK English Grad Meeting Winter Retreat:

The ARK meeting is organizing a winter retreat for our young adults from Feb 9 – 11 at Nottawasaga Resort. The retreat theme is “God’s Plan – My purpose. Talks will be delivered by Fr. Anthony Mourad. For reservation and more details, please visit the church website.

English Bible Study

English Bible Study will start a new series on “Characters in the Book of Genesis” for 13 weeks. There will be two groups that you can attend either one, Wednesdays and Sundays.
When: Wednesdays 7:30PM or Sundays 8:30PM
Dates:  January 4, 2017 to April 5, 2017
Where: St. Mark’s Church, Scarborough

St. Mark’s Book Club


St. Mark’s is pleased to introduce a new educational activity to encourage our youth and congregation in general to read and discuss from an Orthodox standpoint a chosen collection of bestseller religious books. For the book recommended for the month of August and how to join the club, please see Marina Tawadrous or Fr. Ammonius after the liturgies.
